As a series of the 40th Anniversary, the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held an alumni gathering. The activity which was attended by all elements of the leadership of the Unhas academic community and FKG Unhas alumni took place at the FKG Unhas Parking Yard, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Sunday (19/3).
Present at the Alumni Gathering were the Chairperson of IKA Unhas (Dr. Ir. H. Andi Amran Sulaiman, M.P.), the Chairperson of the IKA FKG Unhas as well as a Member of the Indonesian Parliament (drg. Hj. Hsnah Syam, MARS)., the Chairperson of the Unhas Academic Senate (Prof. Dr. drg. Bahruddin Thalib, M.Kes., Sp.Pros(K)., Chairman of the Unhas Council of Professors (Prof. Dr. A Prince Moenta SH., MH., DFM).
Also present were the Secretary of Unhas (Prof. Ir. Donation of Steel, M.Phil, Ph.D)., Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs (Prof. Muhammad Ruslin, drg.M.Kes.,Ph.D., Sp.B.M.M. , Subsp.Ortognat-D (K)., and Deputy Chancellor for Human Resources, Alumni and Information Systems Unhas (Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, SH., M.Hum), and Dean of FKG Unhas (drg. Irfan Sugianto, M.Med.Ed., Ph.D) along with the leadership of FKG Unhas.
Dean of FKG Unhas, drg. Irfan Sugianto, M. Med., Ph.D. expressed his gratitude for the involvement of all alumni who have played an active role in the success of various series of FKG Unhas’ 40th anniversary events.
Furthermore, Dr. Irfan Sugianto also explained that at the Alumni Gathering this time there was a Lauching Ocular Prosthesis (Fake Eye) Social Service organized by the Department of Prosthodontics FKG Unhas in collaboration with the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine (FK) Unhas (Unhas).
This Social Service activity was sponsored by BSI, BSI Maslahat, RSGMP Unhas and Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital.
drg. Irfan Sugianto also expressed his gratitude to the committee who have worked hard to make this year’s Alumni Gathering a success.
The event, which presented lots of entertainment and culinary delights, distributed door prizes and was attended by alumni of FKG Unhas since the 80s lasted until 12.00 WITA.(*)
