Department of Dental Conservation

 Protecting teeth from hard tissue damage, reducing pain, and restoring tooth function and esthetics are the main goals of dental conservation treatment. The Department of Dental Conservation FKG UNHAS requires clinical and preclinical students to understand well the principles of dental conservation treatment in order to provide maximum service with minimally invasive concepts.

Research and scientific papers published at the Department of Dental Conservation, FKG UNHAS must be applicable and synergize between the theory of damage to hard tooth tissue/pulp tissue and conservative treatment.

Through the Student Center Learning (SCL) and Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning methods, students are expected to play an active role, so that later they become quality graduates who are creative and innovative in following the development of dental science and technology, especially in the field of Dental Conservation.
