The Department of Public Dental Health is responsible for achieving competence within the scope of its field of science. The Department of Public Dental Health is the application of dentistry (basic dentistry and clinical dentistry) to the community with an optimal level of public health.
The goal is to improve the dental health of individuals, families and communities due to various factors including environment and demographics, through promotive, preventive, educative approaches and control of dental and oral diseases as well as improving the quality of life. This department plays a role in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
