The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a Socialisation of International Reputable Journal Literature Search Techniques.
The activity took place in a hybrid manner with the event point located in the Molar Room at 14.00 Wita, Friday (27 October 2023) by presenting presenters including:
1. Amiruddin, S.Sos (Head of Reading Room FKG Unhas) with the topic “Get to know more about Reading Room FKG Unhas”.
2. Andi Nasri Abduh, S. Sos, M. Hum (Public Relations Department of Unhas Central Library) with the topic “Techniques of searching international journals literature”.
The activity was officially opened by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs (Acing Habibie Mude, drg., Ph.D., Sp.Pros.Subsp.OGST (K). He briefly explained the reasons for this activity.
“This activity is so important because we really understand that the need for literature searches or serious scientific references is very much needed by students,” said drg. Acing.
Currently, there are about 1300 students of FKG Unhas, both from the undergraduate programme, specialist programme, master’s programme and doctoral programme, who really need to know how to find literature for the purpose of preparing theses and scientific papers.
“Of course, this activity is very useful because it is related to how the Faculty provides facilities to facilitate the educational process,” he continued.
“Hopefully, this activity can be well used by the students by gaining as much knowledge as possible so that the resulting papers can be of high quality,” he concluded.
The activity ran smoothly until 16.00 Wita.
