Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a Competency Test for Dentist Professional Program Students (UKMP2DG) period IV in 2023, Saturday – Sunday (28-29 October 2023).
In this period of examination, 92 dental profession students participated. 46 people from FKG Unhas, 33 people from Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) and 13 people from Samratulangi University.
Competency Tests for dental profession program students are mandated by Law Number 20 of 2013 concerning Medical Education. There is also a Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 30 of 2014 concerning Procedures for Implementing Competency Tests for Students of the Doctor or Dentist Professional Program.
These two rules make the implementation of competency tests for new dentists change to the Dentist Professional Program Student Competency Test (UKMP2DG) which must be followed by dental professional program students before they are declared graduated and graduated.
The Central Supervisor as a representative of the UKMP2DG National Committee is drg. Fahmi Yunisa, Sp. Pros from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY).
While External Examiners include:
Prof. Dr. drg. Yuniardini Septorini Wimardhani, MSc.Dent from the University of Indonesia;
Dr. drg. Muslita Indrasari, M.Kes., Sp.Pros.(K) from the University of Indonesia;
drg. Cahyani, Sp.KG from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta;
drg. Naviatullaily Yarsiska, MMR from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.

Research, and Innovation FKG Unhas Acing Habibie Mude, drg., Ph.D., Sp.Pros., Subsp.OGST (K) who is also the Chairperson of the UKMP2DG Local Committee of FKG Unhas expressed his deepest gratitude to all UKMP2DG committees for period IV of 2023 who have taken the time during the process of implementing the competency test this time.
