Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Hasanuddin University (Unhas) received a visit from Dean of Official of Golbal Affairs China Medical University (CMU) Taiwan, Prof. Liang-Yo Yang, DVM., Ph.D., Friday (3/10).
Prof. Liang-Yo Yang’s visit was received directly by the Dean (Irfan Sugianto, drg., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D) and the Vice Deans of FKG Unhas.
Also present were the Chairperson of the Dentistry Undergraduate Study Program (KPS), Professors and lecturer staff of FKG.
The Dean of FKG Unhas warmly welcomed Prof. Liang-Yo Yang’s arrival at Unhas and expressed great happiness for receiving Prof. Yang’s visit.
On that occasion, Prof. Liang-Yo Yang also interviewed three alumni of FKG Unhas who will continue their studies at China Medical University, Taiwan.
“This program is also a manifestation of our collaboration between FKG Unhas and China Medical University (CMU), Taiwan to improve the quality of FKG Unhas human resources,” said drg. Irfan Sugianto
In the previous year, FKG Unhas had sent four (4) FKG Unhas lecturers to take the Ph.D program, Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences at China Medical University, Taiwan, including:
1. Muhammad Ikbal, drg., Ph.D., Sp.Pros., Subsp., PKIKG (K)
2. Al’Qarama Mahardhika Talib, drg., MARS.
3. Christine Anastasia Rovani, drg., Sp.KG., Subsp., KR (K).
4. Israyani, drg.,Sp.PM.Subsp.,Inf(K).
After the activity, Prof. Liang Yo Yang also signed an MoU between Hasanuddin University and China Medical University Taiwan which took place at the Unhas Rectorate Building which was attended by the Rector of Unhas (Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc), Dean of FKG Unhas (Irfan Sugianto, drg, M.Med.Ed., Ph.D), Dean of FK Unhas (Prof. Dr. dr. Haerani Rasyid, M.Kes., Sp.PD-KGH., Sp.GK), Dean of FKM Unhas (Prof. Sukri Palutturi, SKM, M.Kes, MSc.PH, Ph.D) and Dean of Pharmacy Unhas (Prof. Dr. rer.nat. Marianti A Manggau, Apt).
